RentGuardUS Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RentGuardUS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our website, applications, products, or services.
2. Company Services
RentGuardUS provides rent guarantee programs, tenant verification, landlord verification, payment monitoring, rent reporting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal support coordination, property support services, TRS scoring, RentBy-Us listings, and AI-powered housing intelligence tools.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter contracts, and must provide truthful, accurate, and current information.
4. Account Registration
Users are responsible for maintaining account security, protecting login credentials, and immediately reporting unauthorized account activity.
5. Membership Fees and Payments
RentGuardUS may charge subscription fees, enrollment fees, landlord program fees, tenant membership fees, verification fees, service fees, and other disclosed charges. Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise in writing.
Proposed landlord billing: $199.99 one-time admin fee per new profile plus applicable tax at signup. Monthly rent × plan rate follows a 30-day provider trial, then monthly renewal. Payment date + 30 days is an estimate, not a provider-confirmed charge date. Paid admin fees are not reset by subscription cancellation. Final membership terms are pending approval; live checkout is blocked.
This proposed billing disclosure does not finalize the landlord membership agreement or constitute approval; the final renewal, cancellation, refund, and activation terms must be approved before any live checkout.

6. Rent Guarantee Program
Rent guarantee services are subject to eligibility approval, separate program agreements, coverage limits, waiting periods, claims review, and verification requirements. Coverage is not automatic.
7. TRS Tenant Reliability Score
TRS is a proprietary RentGuardUS housing-related reliability score. TRS is not a credit score, does not guarantee housing approval, and may change based on available data.
8. Sentinel Verification
RentGuardUS may use Sentinel to verify identity, income, documents, rental history, and fraud risk. False information may result in account suspension, termination, denial of service, or legal action.
9. Credit and Rent Reporting
Where authorized and permitted by law, RentGuardUS may report rental payment information to credit reporting agencies or approved reporting partners.
10. RentBy-Us Marketplace
RentBy-Us may provide property listings and rental marketplace tools. RentGuardUS does not guarantee property availability, listing accuracy, landlord performance, tenant performance, or rental approval.
11. AI and Automated Systems
RentGuardUS may use AI systems such as Morpheus, Sentinel, Signal, Shield, Atlas, Goliath, Aegis Resolve, Spectra, TRS, and NRIS. AI outputs may be estimates, recommendations, or risk indicators and are not guaranteed.
12. User Conduct
Users may not submit false information, commit fraud, misuse the platform, harass others, violate housing laws, interfere with systems, upload malicious code, reverse engineer RentGuardUS technology, or use services for discriminatory purposes.
13. Fair Housing Compliance
Users must comply with the Fair Housing Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act where applicable, state housing regulations, and all anti-discrimination laws.
14. Intellectual Property
All RentGuardUS software, systems, logos, trademarks, content, databases, scoring methods, AI systems, source code, workflows, and proprietary tools are owned by RentGuardUS or its licensors.
15. Confidentiality
Users may not disclose RentGuardUS proprietary systems, trade secrets, risk models, scoring methods, software architecture, security systems, or confidential business information.
16. Disclaimers
RentGuardUS services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee rental approval, credit improvement, rent guarantee eligibility, uninterrupted service, legal outcomes, financial outcomes, or error-free results.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentGuardUS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive damages, lost profits, lost income, business interruption, or data loss.
18. Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RentGuardUS, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, contractors, and partners from claims arising from misuse of services, fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms.
19. Dispute Resolution
Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through RentGuardUS support. If unresolved, disputes may proceed through good-faith negotiation, mediation, arbitration where permitted, or applicable legal proceedings.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable law.
21. Termination
RentGuardUS may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, non-payment, false information, security concerns, or violation of these Terms.
22. Electronic Communications
By using RentGuardUS, users consent to receive electronic communications, including account notices, legal notices, payment notices, verification requests, and service updates.
23. Updates to Terms
RentGuardUS may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services after updates means the user accepts the revised Terms.
